 Meet Hadley.

I can't believe I haven't posted any pictures of her here!

The above picture I took when she was about six weeks old.

She is an absolute delight.

We love our little family!

She is keeping us busy and my dreams of a sleeping baby and tons of scrapbooking time just didn't materialize.

Now she is napping a bit better, but not for very long.  

And she is grabbing for absolutely everything.

I miss blogging.

I miss my scrapbooking.

I have a lot to share about Close to My Heart and some of their new products.

But first, I wanted to introduce you to our new bundle of joy.

This was taken right before Christmas in front of our tree.

Hadley is almost six months here.

Brady is 9.

Where does the time go??

Nap time is over.  All fifteen minutes of it.  :)  

Ella and Prom.

My Sister is going to enter Miss Ella into the Little Miss Mushroom Contest.

So she needed some current pictures.

She brought her out to my house with a few outfits too.

It was very windy, sunny, and we had a very busy almost two-year-old who didn't want to sit still.

I think we did manage to get some decent pictures.

I love the one above.  

We think she looks like a model in the making here.

This is just hilarious.

She is loving the hat.

This one is my favorite. 

 I cut off a little too much of her head, but I love that her little foot in the air.

This is just precious.

And I was asked to take some Prom pictures yesterday.  It was so much fun having willing subjects!  And such pretty pretty (and handsome) subjects too!  Here are a couple of the group shots.  We sure didn't have dresses like that when I went to Prom!!!  Everyone just looked absolutely gorgeous!

Here is a picture of Brady flying his kite the other day!  I believe the kite spent more time in the tree then in the air!  This Thomas Kite wouldn't do, so his Dad ordered them real kites!  I will post pictures of the real kite flying soon!  I think the real kite about carried Brady away!

Looking fore Camera Lens Recommendations. . .

I have a Canon Rebel and I am looking for a new lens. Simple enough?? No, I think not!!!! There are so many choices. . . .and of course I want to choose the most perfect lens. . .great for any situation. Plus, I don't want to break the bank!!!! I have read enough about lenses to know that the perfect lenses does not exist!!!! There is a little give and take with each one.

I love taking pictures, but I am still just an novice. . . .trying to learn some more so my pictures can improve.

SO. . . I pose this question.. . . those of you Canon DSLR users. . . what lenses do you recommend??? I currently have the lens that came with my camera (which I never use) and the 75-300mm zoom lens (which I use all of the time and is not the most convenient.)

Please. . . .let me know what you think!!!!!!!

Just another lovely picture of my pretty peonies! My absolute favorite flower!!!! I just love when they are in bloom!!! They smell delightful too. . . BUT they aren't my favorite smelling flower. . . that would fall to the Lilac!
